Christian De Vita

Graduated from the Roberto Rossellini Film and Television Institute in Rome in 1992, Christian immediately moved to London in search of work in animation.
After a few positions in various studios working on various TV series and commercials, Christian was invited to join the animation team for the Warner Bros. American feature film “Space-Jam”.
After a stint directing and storyboarding for productions such as Aardman Animation, Cartoon Network, Disney, Fox, Warner Bros, Columbia Records, Mercury Records, Sony BMG, Leo-Burnett London, TBWA London, Christian was asked to join the storyboard team of Wes Anderson's acclaimed "Fantastic Mr. Fox." Christian established himself as Lead Story Artist on the award-winning film and worked for Anderson again on a number of projects, including "Moonrise Kingdom," as a producer and director of the animated shorts created for the film's promotion, and "Grand Budapest Hotel" as a designer for the film's opening scenes and animator of the end credits.
He also realized his dream working with Tim Burton on the storyboard of "Frankenweenie."
In 2010 Christian was awarded with the ASIFA Animation Art Award for his contribution to Italian animation. He was part of the Art & Design team of Wes Anderson's movie "Isle of Dogs," which was awarded as best animated film with Oscars, Baftas and Golden Globes.
In the last 6 years Christian has been heading the very popular PJ Masks series for Disney, which he still directs and writes.
