Head of 2D and film editor on "L’Arte della Felicità”, produced by Mad Entertainment and winner of the European Film Awards 2014 for Best European Animated Feature.
After working as a graphic designer, through all forms of expression and communication for the past 20 years, from publishing to advertising, from the web to the audio-visual and video installations, Marino found his true love: animation.
He creates, designs and participates in the creation of commercials and music videos, television themes and educational products, documentaries, specials and feature films. Among his works: "Donna Maria", music video clips of the Neapolitan folk group Foja; "Gli Occhi più Azzurri", documentary by Simona Cappiello and Manolo Turri Dell'Orto; "Giga & Stick", educational product made for the National Institute for Astrophysics and "Bada che ti mangio!”, opening sequence for Antonio Lubrano’s Tv show.
He is also a Digital Animation lecturer at the Italian School of Comix, for which he directed the short film "Mezzanotte di Segni".
He is currently directing his first animated feature film "Gatta Cenerentola", along with Ivan Cappiello, Alessandro Rak and Dario Samson. The film, produced by Mad Entertainment in collaboration with Rai Cinema, will be distributed by Videa.
