Paolo Polimeni

Paolo started his career as a Floor Manager, then Producer-Director for regional and national broadcasters, including the Italian Public Broadcaster RAI. As the Communication Specialist for UNICEF, AMREF, Ethical Bank and other Organisations, he developed and ran Marketing and Communication programs. Paolo started focusing on TV-Film content assessment with Channel 44 and NHK World, Antenna Documentary Film Festival, Sci-Fi Film Festival, Queer Screen and the Japanese Film Festival monitoring, assessing and classifying programs. He currently classifies for SBS, the Australian Multicultural public broadcaster. Founder and Director of AniMate – Australia Animation Film Festival, with a strong focus and passion for editorial excellence, Paolo assesses and classifies programs for film festivals and national broadcasters. He is also part of juries including the ATOM Awards and a voting member of the AACTA Awards.
